Keeping production UI on-standard when delivery outpaces design review
I built a living production-component showcase that became Command Cloud's Define-lane source of truth—so prototypes consume approved patterns and UX scales by encoding judgment, not by bottlenecking review.

Plus: Unifying UX Across Dispatch, Sales & Quoting, Material Supply, and Admin
I also led cross-product UX/UI improvements that reduced operational errors, clarified key workflows, and established a scalable, AI-ready design system across Command Cloud.
The Problem
Inconsistent patterns across apps, late-stage design crunches, and avoidable workflow errors (e.g., duplicate tickets) were creating friction for users and operational inefficiencies.
Objectives
- Unify shared layouts and components
- Reduce friction and operational mistakes
- Establish accessible color systems (light/dark)
- Prepare for AI-assisted tasks and onboarding
One System, Many Apps
Standardized order management layouts, introduced a Recommended Actions module to replace fragmented chat patterns, and built accessible color rules for statuses across light/dark modes.
Key Wins
Material Supply: From Lists to Clarity
Shipped new order management and material configuration mockups, moved to card-based product lines for visual hierarchy, and defined aggregate depot inventory requirements.

Admin: Faster Setup, Familiar Patterns
SSO-style configuration wizard for continuity, plus AI-assisted onboarding flows. Proposed Command Cloud key for streamlined third-party sign-ins.
Command Intelligence: AI-Powered Insights
Designed Command Intelligence, an AI assistant that helps dispatchers and operators quickly access their data, documents, and operational insights through natural language queries. The interface organizes workspaces, recent chats, and provides contextual suggestions for common tasks.
